Tartar and water
This cream is perfect to remove accumulated plaque around the fireplace. To do it, you just need to mix in a bowl about 2 tablespoons cream of tartar and a little water to make a thin paste.
If you do not get the cream of tartar, you can replace it with baking soda and with this solution also clean the inside of the chimney.
Apply a layer of this paste where the soot and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water the pasta and then repeat the steps if necessary.
Mix baking soda and detergent
To this mixture, you only need to add 2 or 3 tablespoons of soap for washing dishes and about 1/2 cup of baking soda. Create a paste consistency and ensures that not too thick to remove from the walls of the fireplace easily.
